Implementation Services. Our Implementation Services are designed to provide your staff with the professional development and support you require. We have extensive experience in technical assistance, curriculum integration, and teacher training. Our services and materials prepare you to integrate Conceptua Fractions software to support teacher effectiveness and student success.

Built-In Support

Our web site contains materials for use with our Free Teacher Tools. The Premium Subscription includes a Teacher Support page associated with each topic. These pages provide links to the Common Core Standards, IEP objectives, key vocabulary, and instructional strategies. We also provide free webinars to support implementation of the product.

The Conceptua™ Fractions Pilot Package

Conceptua Math offers this specially-priced pilot program to give school districts the opportunity to use our software in a well-managed trial environment. We will work with your staff to address local implementation needs and maximize the effectiveness of the software.

Licenses:

Up to 800 students in as many as 4 schools. Suggested focus: one school, one grade level or a specific program, such as special education, assistive technology, or RtI. Licenses are valid for one year. Value: $2,400.

Support:

One in-person, full-day workshop and planning visit: Includes evaluation of computer infrastructure, discussion with mathematics leadership, math professional development, and training on software use. Alternative is two, consecutive, half-day visits. Value: $3,000
Two custom webinars: Scheduled on a flexible basis to address curriculum alignment, teaching strategies, testing preparation, computer usage, and any other relevant topics. Value: $500.
Exclusive Pilot Learning Community (PLC) blog, featuring sample lesson plans, special pilot program communications, tips, strategies for success, and sharing with other pilot programs.

Suggested Timeline:

We will work with you to identify an implementation process that spans a 4 – 12 week time period. During this time, we will deliver all support and work to ensure a successful pilot.

Custom Webinars. Custom webinars go beyond an overview of the software and address curriculum alignment, methods of implementation, and instructional delivery that can be informed through the use of formative assessments. Scheduled prior to software use, the webinar assists staff in the alignment of Conceptua Fraction lessons to the specific curriculum and in the development of implementation goals and measures of success. The staff is assisted in the use of progress monitoring and formative assessments to inform the placement of students and plan instructional delivery. The session can be recorded and made available for future use.

Half-day and full-day on-site workshops. One on-site, full-day workshop and planning visit can include evaluation of computer infrastructure, discussion with mathematics leadership and math professional development integrated with training on Conceptua Fraction use. The demonstrations, seen in the webinar, are now, through a hands-on lab, experienced by the participants. Teachers, aided by graphics, formative assessments, review options, and student discussions learn how to make decisions on student placement and manage student progress. The workshop facilitator creates a comfortable but yet challenging environment while interacting with participants and addressing their needs and questions.

The full-day workshop can be presented in 2 half-day sessions on two consecutive days to the same group. The full-day workshop can also be modified to fit a half-day session for two different groups. A half-day workshop will include most topics outlined in the full-day workshop but the depth at which each is addressed will be limited as will the hands-on time.
